About the role
The Director of Strategic Accounts has a direct key customer facing and sales support role. He/she will display exceptional organization and communication skills both externally to clients as well as internally to the content design, product management, and support teams. The role has a strong focus on the identification, development, and conversion of prospects to direct revenue for the company. After a ramp-up on-boarding period, there will be an assigned annual sales quota.

What we are looking for
– Minimum of five years direct selling or business development experience.
– Skilled problem solver, with structured work processes.
– Good training skills., Adaptable, and highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization including executive management.
– Commercially minded, with an ability to understand client and stakeholder perspectives.
– Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
– Experience in preparing and reviewing proposals, contracts.

Specific Job-Related Requirements
– Develop a list of target accounts, by vertical and by geography.
– Build account and activity plans for each of the targeted accounts in order to engage and begin the sales process.
– Collaborate with the sales team, project management, and content teams and Marketing when appropriate.
– Enter all proposal/quote activity into SalesForce database.
– Provide weekly reports on activity/progress/achievements.

This role will be based out of your home office and you will work remotely. Can be based on either the east (Northeast or Southeast) or west coast (Northern or Southern CA).

– Compensation: Base salary plus commission
– Benefits: Company subsidized health, dental, and vision plans. Vacation and PTO, along with company holidays and a 401K Plan.
