  • Advocacy & Outreach Committee
The Advocacy & Outreach Committee works together to advocate and educate different market verticals/end users on the benefits of and how to get started with digital signage. Consisting of several subcommittees designed around the verticals, they are responsible for the Market Vertical Guide pages on the website, developing a webinar series curriculum, and various whitepapers and articles about digital signage within that vertical. The A&O Committee also advocates for market vertical events for the DSF to participate in.

  • Budget/Finance Committee
The Budget/Finance Committee consists of the Treasurer and chair of the committee. Together they work with the Executive Director to develop the association's annual budget and monetary strategy & policy.

  • Distributor Committee
Recognizing the growing importance of the distributors' role in the digital signage market, the Distributor Committee provides a vendor neutral platform where the voices of the distributor may be heard. We provide guidance and feedback to the DSF based on our collective experiences and perspectives.

  • Education Committee
The Education Committee works together to develop an annual curriculum of education, utilizing the methods of webinars, whitepapers, and articles. The committee is responsible for the educational works of the DSF to its members and industry. They develop and recruit webinars, whitepapers, and articles throughout the year. The committee also advocates certification within the industry.

  • Events Committee
The Events committee receives recommendations on industry events that the DSF should participate in. After the committee vets the events through a specific set of criteria, they recommend to the board the events the DSF should have a presence at. The committee is also responsible for assembling all booth and marketing materials for the DSF at these events.

  • Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consists of the four executive officers (Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer/Secretary, and Immediate Past Chairman) of the Digital Signage Federation. The committee is responsible for the strategic direction of the association.

  • Legislative Committee
The Legislative/Government Affairs Committee develops programs to support the advancement of digital signage rights and improve legislation, regulations, codes and standards that affect the sale and use of digital signage and interactive technologies.

  • Membership Committee
The Membership committee works together to recruit, retain, and promote membership in the DSF. The committee is also responsible for the development and marketing of various member programs (publication of member press releases, VIP service program, connecting members with each other, case study publication), benefits, and discount programs available to members.

  • Research Committee
The Research Committee consists of three members handpicked by the Chairman to develop and recommend industry research that would help digital signage companies in their pursuit of funding from venture capitalists and banks.

  • Standards Committee
The Standards committee works together to establish standards within the industry to provide guidance and better business practices for the digital signage industry. The committee is responsible for the promotion of the DSF Seal of Professional Excellence, creation of the industry's first Privacy Standards, and the National Standards Digital Signage Higher Education. The committee also works with various other committees on developing industry standards (such as working with the Education Committee on the National Standards for Higher Education in Digital Signage).
