DSF Announces Awards

15 Awards Presented During the Ceremony

Warrenton, VAThe Digital Signage Federation® (DSF), the only independent not-for-profit trade organization serving the digital signage industry is pleased to announce the category and overall award winners of the inaugural DSF Awards.  The winning projects represent four continents and a varying degree of scale.

In a ceremony presented virtually by rAVe Agency and the DSF, 15 awards were presented.  12 of the awards were for categories recognized by the industry.  The DSF Alan C. Brawn Educator of the Year Award was also presented at the ceremony to industry luminary, Jim Nista. Two of the awards were overall winners in the areas of integration and content.  The Integration of the Year award went to DCL for the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.  The Content of the Year award went to Potion for the Rubin Museum of Art- Wheel of Intention which was on display in the New York City museum.

The awards were originally to be presented in spring 2020 as the APEX Awards during DSE.  Because of the cancellation and closure of the DSE the awards were delayed. “We felt it was the responsibility of the DSF to present these awards and recognize the dedication of the nominees in presenting some of the best and most creative work in our industry,” said DSF Chairman, Spencer Graham.

After a judging process led by DSF members, finalists were notified in spring of 2020 about being one of the top three entries in their categories.  In the fall of 2020, with the closure of the DSE, the DSF Board of Directors announced that the DSF would be recognizing the winners in a virtual ceremony.  The ceremony may be seen on the rAVe LANCH platform at https://lavnch.com/lavnch-and-learn/dsf-awards/

Below is a list of all the finalists and their award place in the award categories.  These projects will be featured on the DSF website (https://digitalisignagefederation.org ) throughout the winter and spring of 2021.
